Anglo, i don't know how it is in the UK, but what i can see here in US and Canada, that really here the people are putting the muslims as a proto type, the people are never asking of what is behind, they have this fixed view about muslims, at least for canada, becuase when you come here it is often very difficult to get a work permit with what you have studied, a lot of the imigrants work as taxi dirvers, and the other fixed image that they have is that the muslims are keeping their women in the houses, here the media when there is a sitcom or a joke or cartoon, they are showing the arabs as ones riding camels and wearing the torban, this is the reality here, that's why he is saying these things, i think that he is trying to show the people that the arabs have technology too, by the way, they say that when you ask an american about a europian country he will not know where it is, so what do you think about asking them about arabs?
